Every visit to Don McLean American Pie Parking begins with a story, a snowy night in 1959, and a song that helped America grieve. Our little nonprofit grew out of neighbors, guitars, and gravel, not government funding. Walk the path, feel the quiet, then visit our About page to see how this field became a living memorial.

We started with a gravel patch, a porta potty, and a hope that people who loved this music would find us. Every donation since then has turned into something you can touch, like better parking, clearer signs, and more places to sit and talk.

Next comes marked camping spots, a shelter house, then, someday, a little 1950s diner. When you give, you help write that next chapter.
